1. GENERAL TERMS

The Telecel Santa Streak Promotion (“Promotion”)is a loyalty and reward scheme offered by Telecel Ghana (“Telecel”). Participation is exclusive to Mobile prepaid users of The Telecel Play App (“App”) who purchase designated ‘Santa Streak Bundles’.

The core mechanism of this Promotion is the daily streak: participants must buy a qualifying bundle on the App every day to maintain their consistency. This consistency enables the Customer to unlock Mystery Boxes and accumulate points on a public Leaderboard with every subsequent purchase.

A Customer’s overall consistency and accumulated points are the sole factors that determine their eligibility for Milestone Rewards and the final prize pool.

*** These bundles will be designated as the Telecel Santa Streak Bundles. From time to time, these bundles may be reviewed.

 

2. DURATION

This Promotion shall commence on the 1^st day of December 2025 and conclude on the 31^st day of December 2025.

 

3. TERMS OF USE

By purchasing any designated Santa Streak bundle, the Customer agrees to be fully bound by these Terms and Conditions.

(A Customer shall be an individual or entity in whose name/personal data the Telecel SIM card is registered.)

• Participation is open to ONLY Mobile Prepaid Customers who utilize the Telecel Play App
• There is no separate registration process required for participation in this Promotion.
• No subscription fees are charged for participation in this Promotion, other than the standard price paid for the bundle purchase.
• Participants must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Staff of Telecel and their immediate relatives (family members) are eligible to purchase the bundles but will not be eligible to receive any rewards associated with the Promotion.
• Telecel is under no obligation to disclose or explain to Customers the specific criteria or methodology used to assign rewards to winners.
• Network reward (airtime, data, and other digital benefits) will be delivered to winners within a maximum period of 72 hours from the time of winning.
• Non-network rewards (Vouchers, Phones, Tickets, etc.) must be collected/redeemed by the Customer, in-person only. These items will be made available for pick-up at the Telecel Headquarters or delivered to a Telecel Retail Shop closest to the Customer’s location.
• Winning Prizes are valid only while stock last. Telecel reserves the right to swap any prize won with another item if the prize is out of stock.
• Telecel reserves the right to amend, revise, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without the obligation of informing customers of such updates.
• Telecel reserves the right to disqualify any Customer that has either been found to be a minor, or a Customer who is suspected to have participated or won through fraudulent means .

 

4. PERSONAL DATA

• By participating in this Promotion, the Customer expressly agrees that personal data which the Customer provides shall be processed by Telecel for the purposes of this Promotion.
• It is hereby specified that the Customer gives her/his consent to Telecel to use their pictures and other relevant personal data for the purposes of publicity including but not limited to Television, the press, radio, leaflets and other means and format of communication.
• Use of this data, however, shall be made only with respect to winners of the Promotion.

 

5. CONFIDENTIALITY

The winner of the Grand Prize (Customer who has Accumulated the Highest Points by the 31^st day of December, 2025) shall be bound by this confidentiality clause and shall not in any manner whatsoever disclose to any person and/or the general public that he/she has been contacted by Telecel as the winner of the weekly/grand prize prior to Telecel making the presentation for the grand prize.

 

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• Telecel accepts no responsibility whatsoever for, and without limitation, any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission and/or communications line failure during the term of this Promotion.
• Telecel shall hold no responsibility if prizes are not redeemed.
• Telecel shall make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the benefits promoted as being available to members will be available as represented. However, Telecel does not guarantee or warrant that such benefits shall always be available. Telecel advises members to check availability of the desired benefits prior to redemption of the said benefits.
• If for any reason, any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Telecel which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this offer, Telecel may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the Promotion. If an act, omission, event, or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Telecel and which prevents Telecel from complying with these Terms and Conditions Telecel will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.
• Telecel reserves the right to suspend the Promotion temporarily or permanently for legal, regulatory and for operational reasons (e.g., for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades) whenever it is deemed necessary. Telecel undertakes where possible to restore the Promotion as soon as practicable after any temporary suspension period. Telecel shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or injuries whatsoever the Customer may suffer as a result any such suspension.

 

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

• Telecel makes no warranty, implied or express, that any part of the Promotion will be uninterrupted and error-free.
• Neither Telecel nor any of its directors, employees, agents or suppliers shall accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any Customer for participating in the Promotion.
• By participating in the Promotion, Customers agree that no claim relating to such losses or injuries (including special, indirect, and consequential losses) shall be asserted or made against Telecel, its parent companies, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, or agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage.

 

8. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

Telecel, as a Data Controller, may disclose Customers’ data to its contractors, agents, regulators, group companies, affiliates, or other third parties (data processors) in line with the Data Protection Act, 2010 (Act 843) to assist in conducting this Promotion or any future promotions.

9. MISCELLANEOUS

• A Telecel subscriber’s continued participation constitutes the member’s acceptance of any changes to these Terms and Conditions. Participants are responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to any changes that Telecel may make to these Terms and Conditions. Telecel will endeavour to make available the Terms and Conditions and any changes thereto on the Telecel Play app”

 

• If Telecel improperly denies a participant any benefits that the participant ought to have earned under the Promotion, the participant’s exclusive remedy shall be the issuance of the improperly denied benefits by Telecel, if available, or such other reasonable, alternative and comparable benefits as determined by Telecel. In the event of any of the aforementioned improper denials, the liability of Telecel shall be limited to the value of the benefits concerned.
• Participants are liable for any claims from third parties, including the tax authorities, arising from participation in this Promotion.
• Personal data relating to participants in this promotion that may be processed and used for purposes of the Promotion shall be in accordance with applicable Data Protection Law.
• Telecel reserves the right to terminate, suspend, cancel or amend the offer and these Terms and Conditions, reward structure, participation of any Telecel subscriber in the Promotion at any time.
• In the event of dispute regarding the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions, conduct and all other matters relating to the Promotion the decision of Telecel shall be final and without appeal.
• These Terms and Conditions will remain in full force and effect while the Promotion lasts (not taking into account temporary suspensions of the Promotion for operational reasons, e.g., for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades).
• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
