GENERAL TERMS

The Telecel Turn Up Campaign is a Telecel promotion which requires participants to buy some selected bundles and spin a digital wheel on My Telecel Play App to stand a chance to win varied rewards.

The promo is exclusive to users of My Telecel Play App within UG Campus who buy the ‘Turn Up Bundles’.

REGISTRATION AND SERVICE

There is no registration needed for this promo.

There is no subscription fee charged for this promo other than the price paid for the bundle purchase.

Participants must be 18 years and above.

By buying a Turn Up bundle, Customer agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.

Telecel Ghana reserves the right to amend or revise the Terms and Conditions any time without the obligation of informing customers of any updates.

Telecel Ghana reserves the rights to disqualify a Customer for abuse through fraudulent means.

 

PROMOTION PERIOD

This Promo shall run from 3^rd February to 14^th February 2026.

 

ELIGIBILITY

With the exception of staff of Telecel Ghana and their relations, all Telecel Ghana Customers on My Telecel Play App, within the designated area, are eligible.

Staff of Telecel Ghana and relations are only eligible to purchase the bundles as long as they are within the designated area at the time of purchase. However, they shall not benefit from the rewards.

 

REWARD MECHANICS

Telecel Ghana is under no obligation to explain to customers how rewards are assigned to winners.

Network related rewards (airtime, data, etc) will be delivered to Customers within 72 hours.

Non-network rewards such as Vouchers, Phones, Tickets, etc will be collected at the Telecel Head Office or delivered to Telecel Retail Shops closest to Customers for pick up.

Telecel Ghana also reserves the right to swap prizes won if a particular prize won is out of stock or not applicable to a particular Customer’s location.

 

PERSONAL DATA

By participating in this promo, the Customer expressly agrees that personal data which the Customer provides shall be processed by Telecel Ghana for the purposes of this promo.

It is hereby specified that the Customer gives her/his consent to Telecel Ghana to use pictures and other relevant personal data for the purposes of publicity including, but not limited to, Television, the press, radio, leaflets and other means and format of communication.

This however shall be made only with respect to winners of the promo.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Telecel Ghana accepts no responsibility whatsoever for and without limitation, any error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure when it is not under its direct control.

Telecel Ghana shall hold no responsibility if prizes are not redeemed.

Telecel Ghana shall make commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that the benefits promoted as being available to participants will be available as represented. However, Telecel does not guarantee or warrant that such benefits shall always be available. Telecel advises participants to check availability of the desired benefits prior to redemption of the said benefits.

If for any reason, any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of Telecel Ghana which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this offer, Telecel Ghana may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the Promotion. If an act, omission, event, or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Telecel Ghana and which prevents Telecel from complying with these Terms and Conditions Telecel Ghana will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation.

Telecel Ghana reserves the right to suspend the Promotion temporarily or permanently for legal, regulatory and for operational reasons (e.g., for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades) whenever it is deemed necessary. Telecel Ghana undertakes where possible to restore the Promotion as soon as practicable after any temporary suspension period. Telecel shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or injuries whatsoever the Customer may suffer as a result any such suspension

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

Telecel Ghana makes no warranty, implied or express, that any part of the Promotion will be uninterrupted and error-free.

Neither Telecel Ghana nor any of its directors, employees, agents or suppliers shall accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any Customer for participating in the Promotion.

 

 

MISCELLANEOUS

A Telecel Ghana subscriber’s continued participation constitutes the member’s acceptance of any changes to these Terms and Conditions. Participants are responsible for remaining knowledgeable as to any changes that Telecel Ghana may make to these Terms and Conditions. Telecel will endeavour to make available the Terms and Conditions and any changes thereto on the Telecel Play app”

If Telecel Ghana improperly denies a participant any benefits that the participant ought to have earned under the Promotion, the participant’s exclusive remedy shall be the issuance of the improperly denied benefits by Telecel Ghana, if available, or such other reasonable, alternative and comparable benefits as determined by Telecel Ghana . In the event of any of the aforementioned, the liability of Telecel Ghana shall be limited to the value of the benefits concerned.

Participants are liable for any claims from third parties, including the tax authorities, arising from participation in this Promotion.

Personal data relating to participants in this promotion that may be processed and used for purposes of the Promotion shall be in accordance with applicable Data Protection Law.

Telecel Ghana reserves the right to terminate, suspend, cancel or amend the offer and these Terms and Conditions, reward structure, participation of any Telecel Ghana subscriber in the Promotion at any time.

In the event of dispute regarding the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions, conduct and all other matters relating to the Promotion the decision of Telecel Ghana shall be final and without appeal.

These Terms and Conditions will remain in full force and effect while the Promotion lasts (not taking into account temporary suspensions of the Promotion for operational reasons, e.g., for repairs, planned maintenance or upgrades).

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
